Kento Hong

Japanese–Taiwanese American violinist Kento Hong has earned international recognition as a leading laureate of the Yehudi Menuhin, Thomas & Evon Cooper, and Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competitions, and currently serves as the inaugural Gurrena Career Fellow at the Meadowmount School of Music. He has performed at premier venues including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, the New World Center, and the Kronberg Academy, all while pursuing rigorous dual-degree studies in Mathematics–Statistics, Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering research at Columbia University, in parallel with Violin Performance at The Juilliard School.
